I'm determined to get to 50K by the end of the month. Good thing I have a four-day weekend coming up.
Thanks for all your comments on yesterday's Travelblogue. I'll get Part 2 up as soon as I can.
Oh, here's my Thanksgiving menu (since I know you're all just dying to know what I'm going to make), with apologies to Dr. Atkins:
-
Stuffing
-
Green Salad
-
Mashed Potatoes
-
Glazed Carrots (Mackenzie's request)
-
Corn Casserole
-
Green Beans (not that casserole thing with the French fried onions, just beans with butter & garlic)
-
Broccoli & Cheese (Alex's request)
-
Crescent rolls
For Dessert (both from Tom Saaristo, and check out his excellent website, too):
I know this is a ridiculous amount of food for three people, but we'll have a lot of stuff left over & that's all right. I haven't cooked Thanksgiving dinner myself for several years. I'm looking forward to it.
I have to go do that dog walk today and unfortunately, it's pouring. At least it's not too windy. I haven't figured out what I'm going to tell Mr. S (your suggestions welcome), but I'm going to have to take a long lunch. And then tonight I'll have to write the article as it's due tomorrow...

Yay, a menu. Cooking T-giving dinner is fun, right? :)
My family always uses as many things as possible that can be thrown away so we don't have so many dishes. If you aren't really attached to the idea of fancy China, maybe you could do that?
That menu sounds fantastic. My stomach has been growling all week in anticipation.
