  • An Update

A few of you have asked where the heck I've been. Thanks for your concern. I am A-OK, and working on my book. Specifically I'm trying to write a kick-ass 5000-word section to submit to a writing workshop. Also, I'm working a lot and the sun is out, at least right now. I think we're headed for at least a week of rain.

I'm also captain of my tennis team (which takes a fair amount of time, actually) and played in a tournament last weekend, in which I didn't do too well overall, but did score one major upset win, which was the coolest thing ever. No, really, it was.

Aside from that, I've been reading like a madman and trying to get a semi-reasonable amount of sleep at night. I have also developed a near-obsession with This American Life.

I went through some turbulent times, shall we say, with my kids in the last couple of months. Things are better now, I guess.

My cat is still cute, you all are still nice, and my boss is still crazy. It's good to know that some things never change.
