| One more week and it's all over.

| Two months later, I'm back to blog. Two weeks later, I will have graduated and posted my last blog. Here's an exerpt:
"Look
around at your classmates sitting here today. I'm sure you recognize a
myriad of them, from sports, music, class, clubs, or possibly from your
neighborhood. Think about the effect that they've had on your life in
the past few years. Thank them. Thank them for their support, their
love, and their friendship throughout this important part of life's journey. Put
aside all of the petty differences and thank them. Maybe even say
goodbye. But keep in touch with those who matter..."
Basically,
my point is this: Mend your friendships. It feels good and it's the
right thing to do. I don't care if you're right and the other person
is wrong...put aside the petty differences (see above). Remember that
if you were friends at one point, there is still something there,
unless your friend literally killed your family and put you into a
coma, which I highly doubt. Fix the broken friendships, end the drama,
and do it for yourself. Maybe I'm getting all caught up in this
goodbye crap, but to not forgive someone and hold grudges and not say
goodbye says a hell of a lot more
about you than it does about the other person. It's too bad everyone
can't get along. However, if that was possible, we wouldn't have much to talk
about! |
