| I'm still alive.Hey ladies and gents. I'm updating because my fellow xanga blogger Sang just upated.
July was a pretty busy month for me (not in any particular order).
1. Got a JOB!
2. Registered for UTD Fall semester
3. Started SUMMER II at Richland
4. Prepared for my brother's wedding
[1] So, I finally got a job after two months of being out of work and watching my checking account decrease significantly. I love how easy my job is but I hate how incredibly boring it gets. Basically, I sit in a cubicle up against the wall and verify insurance claims while listening to my ipod. Niiiice, huh? I even got my friend Mona a job there and she is more crazy about that job than I am.
[2] Since I decided on transferring to UTD it has been stressing me out. It's so effin expensive and so I ended up taking out a few loans to cover tuition. They're my first loans I've taken out since I've been in college and hell, I even moved back home. LAME. I still need to redo my schedule I think I still have time to change it up.
[3] It was my first semester at Richland and I was suppose to be going to class with the boyfriend, but he totally ditched my ass. He didn't want to take a 730 AM class, but I guess it turned out alright since I made him get a job that ended up being an 8 AM to 4 PM shift. I signed up for BLAW and BCALC II. I finished BLAW two weeks early since it was one of those online classes. As for BCALC II, it was the hardest summer class I've ever taken. OMG, I swear I wasn't going to pass that class but the professor passed me! so HAPPY. I failed my first two tests and needed an A on the final. I don't know how that happened but I shall not question it.
[4] Lastly, my 2nd oldest brother Khunara got married on August 2 to my now sister-in-law Jennifer! The wedding was in Lee's Summit, MO. I was one of the bridesmaid and somehow my boyfriend ended up being a fill-in for one of the groomsmen. The wedding was beautiful. The traditional Khmer wedding part of it was a bit chaotic, but the wedding reception made up for it. It was loads of fun. My brother, Lo got silly drunk and fell out of my boyfriend's truck (mind you, his truck is raised up a few inches). So many laughs that night. The drive back to Texas seemed so much faster than the drive up there. My parents are throwing the newlyweds a party here on the 30th so that people who couldn't make it to Missouri could celebrate in Dallas.
And that's pretty much it. There's about two weeks of summer left before school starts up again. My one year anniversary is also in two weeks as well. The boyfriend and I want to go away for the weekend and do something but not sure what to do and where to go. Any ideas? Holler at me!
p.s. - there are not any pictures because my camera broke when I turned twenty-ONE. I'm too lazy to copy and post pictures from my boyfriend's camera. so you guys are out of luck.
