Whoa, whoa, whoa, WHOA! Hold it!

Life got crazy for a bit. I gotta get back. So, here's what's going on right now:

1. I'm Director of Photography for our class' 35mm project. The class voted highly for my pitch last month, so I'm working on my own script. We're shooting two scripts and right now we're in preproduction. It's a really exciting time just because making movies is an awesome process.

2. So I'm sort of seeing one of my teachers. Unfortunately for you guys I've already decided it's a bad idea and am going to end it in the next couple of days when I see him next. You get the emo side of things, not the giddy/stupid side of Jasmine...

3. I was in the hospital for a week and a day in January because I have ulcerative colitis! My colon is a wreck and I've seen a few doctors and I still have bills to pay. I've had pills to take too and insurance bullshit to deal with. It's ridiculous and made me lactose intolerant. Lame.

So yeah, that's just three things that happened in the last three months. I plan to write more though.

I totally forgot I turned 20 too!

I've been a month without xanga, probably longer without Xanga Premium. (le sigh)

My life as I know it is completely different. In a mere six months everything has changed - location, people, and wants. It's a time I should have been documenting just because it's fascinating to me. I feel like an observer to my own life sometimes.

In six months I have moved into an apartment with two girls I didn't know. I'm going to school to study film (which is notorious for being a men's only club) at a school that is 87% male. In my class I am one of ten girls in a class of around sixty. This means I am friends with a lot of guys, which I like. This also means I've been hit on by lots of guys, which annoys me sometimes.

It also means there's potential for drama in my school life, personal life, and the life I left back home.

And I'd like to get back to writing about that. I hope I can focus enough to write down all that I remember cause this is probably the most exciting time I've ever had living. = )
