this weekend...
Guess what I got Isaac as an anniversary gift?
Lego.
Because that's what he wanted.

My in-laws brought his childhood lego stash home when they were here a few weeks ago, and since then he's been like a little boy, setting up an army and a castle. I tell you, the man needs a son so he has a guise with which to play under!
I'm excited about tonight and our anniversary date - we're going to Central Market and buying the fixins for a picnic (Central Market is like... uhh... a gourmet shopper's heaven), and then going to watch a Shakespeare play in a park. Yay... just the sort of thing we love to do.
I also just put my photos from the mountains of CO onto my computer, so hopefully tonight or tomorrow morning I'll be posting some. I'm excited about them - there's some gorgeous ones.
Then on Sunday... we're watching The Dark Knight, which I'm incredibly excited about.
***Also - protected posting newly up.

N still plays with Legos. In fact, I do too...it's like coloring in a coloring book - there is something strangely soothing about it. The picnic sounds delightful! ~ L
Oh that sounds like such a fun night. I love market dinners.
Can Jack go with you to Dark Knight. He's dying to go and I have ZERO desire to go ... if you still lived here, he'd be tagging along with you and Isaac. Alas, he'll have to call his sister, Becky, and see if she'll go. I'm sure she will as that's the type of movie she'd love, too!
i am a huge LEGO fan. my son and my youngest daughter share that inheritance.
@theotica - I think that intelligent people often like lego. I don't know why, it's just my observation. :)
