day1.
was quite nervous for OBS at first, so i was jz talking lots
of crap to cassie on the way there, and there was a morning jam and
stuff. so we were like. 1.5 hours late. lol.
had intro and stuff.
and the med surrendering thingy. i had the biggest bag for med lah. in
the cutest bag too! XD the piggie bag. i think andy thinks i like pigs
alot. my pig med bag, and my pig on my bag, and everything. lol.
"learnt"
how to kayak. haha. went through all the mangroves and everything.
before tt, andy was teaching us about the triyak thing and he only
mentioned cassie's name for 1 start course. lol. and i was actually
relieved to know tt he didnt know tt i also took the 1 star course.
(but he actually did) lol! and my clothes got wet on the first day.
nice.
did jetty jump too! but i didnt shout "g". haha. i think ppl
would think im mad if i shouted g. lol. they were like. cheering for
cassie and divya, then i took the step there. and they were like.
silent. oh! its jieyi.
lol. the tents were harder than the normal
one i pitched before, like. extra 4 steps? and he said it was one of
the easier ways to pitch tents. SURE. haha.
had fire drill and we took like. 10 mins to gather and stuff? lol.
day 2
did
belaying, and learnt tt the trainers called sparkc, "ECC". super funny.
we were like. wad ecc? we did trust fall too. then we trekked a short
trek to camp 1. it was like. so nice. looks so much better than camp 2.
lol. they had a CANTEEN. with TABLE AND CHAIRS. lol. saw other schools
there too. i thought i saw someone i knew. had eye contact but we both
had to go. lol. he looks super familiar. but i jz cant pin point where
i've seen him before. did the high element thing all the way up with
divya. we started laughing so much lah. super funny. did belaying for a
couple of ppl too. i think belaying is so fun. so cool. XD
after
doing the "quiet time" in the night, andy came to tell me he heard
someone said my navigating was good?! i was soo afraid i would get
killed the next day for navigating. so i i said i dun take geog. he was
like " you dun need geog to navigate wad". i was like. wow. then?!
haha. i thought cassie said it lah. so i went to kill her after tt
silently. but she screamed. it wasnt her. i still dunno who said it.
cos ive never done anyhing about navigating in Gb. still puzzled.
day 3
expedition!
before setting off, andy happy happy went on his walkie talkie and he
was like:" tracy, your girls are not cooperating. go back and bully
them ok?" super random and bleh. lol. rowed the boat for 3 hours? to
the random campsite. was caught in a storm before tt. free shower!
haha. we rowed with 5 kg metal ores? and it was soo tiring. but after
the storm, it was so much easier cos we got used to it already. then
trekked back and forth. haha. i saw the OBS entrance and i sort of knew
we were suppose to be there already. cos its kinda suppose to be on OBS
ground. trekked like. 2 plus km to reach tt random campsite. and i was
sooo freaked out. dun ever want to see a wild boar. super freaked out.
andy
thought i was sun burnt? maybe i was. he thought my head was sun burnt.
and he KEPT reminding me. and made me put sun block right infront of
him twice. i put, then i walk away, then he called me AGAIN. to put it
AGAIN. i thought he had stm or something.
he kept saying like. "
jieyi.. take care of your head arr","jieyi, remember.. consequencial
learning..", "jie, im worried about you. you burnt your head" and the
WORST. "jieyi, WHERE is your headgear?" *points to cap, and put it on*
"haha! pauline!!!" *trails off laughing*
sighs. evil.
day 4.
kayaked
all the way back and we were 3 hours earlier. lol. i was chasing the
ppl like crazy trying to make sure they dun go pass me. and we finally
got to camp2. was super tired. and wet and stinky. heh^^. then had our
nice long bathe in the toilet. man. i managed to hold everything in for
2 days straight. haha. super fun. and andy came over to check my sun
burns and he sighed. heh^^ i couldnt say anything cos i covered the
whole time, put sun block and stuff. man. not my fault since the sun
loves me so much. haha! oh wells. did final packing and stuff.
day5.
packed
up, clear up, and got ready for the teachers. announcements brought me
all the way back to reality. lost contact witht eh world for 5 days,
forgot stuff we had to do for the past 5 days, and yeah. everything.
byebye to pulau ubin!byebye andy and all other trainers! (except for ms
ang.will probably see her again soon? lol)
well, there's his name in every one of the days. shows something eh?
lol. oh man. i thought i saw him the other day in the car. aaahhhh. hottt

jieyi is a quiet lady who is able to take up leadership roles when required, she plays a good supporting role as a follwer and occasionally stands out as a leader.
