I couldn't sleep well.. I doubt much people did.I dreamed of war and woke up crying. yesterday I wanted to pray, but I was so mad a God, hardly beliving there could be one. but in my dreams i found myself praying out loud... so loud I can still remember the words. For the first time in months we watched the TV early in the morning.. and I saw the people that survive, I heard about people that were found alive! and then I relised that it is no God who did the harm, it is human and it is God who made all he could to save some of those who where ment to die in such a huge catastrophe.

I've seen that the average Xanga people don't like it when I speak of God, there are less people comming in when I do so....... but I DON'T CARE! all those christians out there speak only about God in their blogs a God that judges, a God that belongs only to them, well today I want to talk about the God that protected those who survived, a God that loves and a God that is sad to see where the free will he gave human race is leading us. God is out there, and not only for Christians or catholics, also for those who don't belive on him, for those who have lost hope, for those who call him other names. And I pray to him to take care of all of us, not only Americans, but to all the world, we need him more than ever.

very wise words, my friend. God loves all of us, even non-Christians and those who do not believe in Him. It is we who turn our backs to Him. He is there waiting for us....

U were right in not blaming Him. It is we humans who got to blame for such disasters. He saved many people in the disaster and He will hear the cries of those still trapped and He will rescue them. He is our hope, like u said.

Once again, thanks for a great blog...

Thanks for dropping by my page.

You can also help by giving blood at the Red Cross or just simply offer your sympathies and prayers.

Every little bit helps and I am sure all the families affected by this terrorist act will appreciate it very much.

If there were no God and if there were no religion, wouldn't there be a lot less wars fought?  No Palestine VS Isreal, no Catholics VS Protestants in Northern Ireland, no Chinese VS Tibetans, no Taliban VS America.

No more suicide bombers quoting the Torah...

God is therefore to blame indirectly for all of these wars and attacks.  Maybe he should have left us alone after the creation.  He certainly didn't save many of my good friends from their deaths in the past.  I renounce God, he's not a God that I want to worship.

Seek solace in your God if that helps, Ambar. For all our sakes, I hope he exists and he is merciful.

I believe as you do, Ambar, that God gave us free will and we are responsible for our own evils. If there were no God, those of us who choose to hate would find another reason to hate; those of us who choose to love would find another reason to love.

I believe that it is proof of the existence of Grace that we have survived as long as we have, as the human race and as individuals. If the Universe ran strictly on logical consequences most of us would have died of our own mistakes early in life.

My own beliefs don't run the same way as yours, peke, but I truly want you to find solace & grace in your relationship with whatever divine forces are out there...I think we've all been praying in our own ways.  peace to you.

I agree...the worst thing the "God Squad" can do is continue pushing themselves on everyone. I actually had some so-called Christians tell me that Ghandi was in Hell because he wasn't Christian! I saw a comment you made saying "I don't believe in a particular god. I just believe". That's what really matters.

Truly insightful.  I agree 100%.  God didn't "allow" this to happen, beyond giving us our freedom of choice, and He did protect many people yesterday.

And, in response to BiG_SCaR_BRuCe: Israel vs. Palestine and N. Irish Catholics vs. Protestants are not religious conflicts; they're wars over land.  They just happen to be divided down religious AND cultural lines.  I honestly don't know about China vs. Tibet.  As for Taliban vs. America, I don't think they're after us because we're infidels.  I don't believe it's about religion in this case, either.  They have their own agenda.

So many countries hate America, and have a good reason to.  This COULD have happened long ago, but it didn't because God was protecting us.  Yes, God judges, but not because he hates.  He judges people so that they can be better people.  He reveals things to people because he loves them and he loves everyone.  Should God not judge the people who did this?  Should he not have told them that what they are doing is wrong so that they would have had a chance to not do it in the first place?  He loves America, as well as all countries.  He is saving those people.
