Yesterday it was a wonderful day. It began early in the morning, since I had to wake up to go to the university. Luckly the professor that gives our Saturday class is quite interesting, other wise I would just stay in bed.

Well after a three ours course Patrick picked me up and we went shopping, then a little after noon we decided to head to Germany to buy our digital camera. We called one of Patrick's best friends Pierre Manuel to see if he wanted to come over.

So after eating lunch and picking up Pierre Manu we headed to Aachen... to discover the shop was closed! seems that saturdays after 4pm all germany is deserted... But since it was such a nice day, with a wonderfull sunny and blue sky we decided to make a little trip to Monschau.

Monschau is a little medieval village situeted in the Eifel region of germany really close to the Belgian border. And I just felt in love with the view... it really makes all the fairy tales my mom told me when I was little come alive. You cna see a nice castle on the top surrounded by a bunch of houses and a river going around all that...

Well we toured the village for a while and when it got dark we ate at a really nice creperie. Then it was time to head back home. But of course when we went to drop Pierre Manu at his place he invited us over to watch a DVD: La Cite des enfants perdus. A really nice but weird movie. It was directed by Junot, the same guy that did Amelie Poulin. Well we had a really nice time watching it, and afterward of course we had to go trough all the bonus of the DVD.

We fianally got home around three in the morning... with no digital camera, but after spending a really nice day. Right nos it is already 2 in the afternoon, Patrick is still sleeping... and I am in bed srufing the web with my laptop.

Well I hope everyone had a nice weekend and that the week only gets better.

I am off to read your blogs..
