I feel like I should write something political...but it's 8:30 in the morning and I'm just not there yet :) I absolutely watched the debates last night (and last week). I think both parties held their own very well and were strong in the areas where maybe people were expecting them to be weak in. I already know who has my vote and I've known that since Huckabee dropped out. Yah I said it, I would've voted for Mike Huckabee had he made it :) I don't get a lot of good response for my political choices but I guess that's just more reassurance for me. I choose to place my vote w/ the candidate that (whether he/she's a "christian" or not) makes more "Christ-like" decisions, I guess. And you can go on and on about who voted what on taxes this and that but that's one thing that I just don't think is going to change a whole lot. There will always be taxes, we will always think they are unfair....no ONE person is going to fix our economy. I'm listening to the plans of both sides and I have an opinion on what both candidates say they are going to do. I think it's extremely important for our next president to support our troops and military. I also really like the idea of that person having some experience in that area. And lastly (not really, there's sooo much more to say but for the sake of time...) I will not place my vote with a candidate who does not support a culture of life. Anyone who says a baby is a "punishment" ...after teaching his daughters VALUES and MORALS does not what his daughters punished w/ a baby or and STD. Yah, the candidate who does not have my vote made these exact statements. He placed being pregnant w/ a living child in the same category as contracting an STD. Not my choice for our next president. I can not support a candidate who speaks to men and urges them that fatherhood does not end after conception but who can not say when life for that child begins and who has voted to use use my tax dollars to fund abortions here and abroad. As good as this candidate may make anything else sound when it comes down to universal health care (which I do not support but know that it sounds like a good idea in theory), tax breaks for the middle class, setting time table for when we can begin to bring troops home, etc... As good as this candidate can make things SOUND, he does not have my vote. It's so important to not be selfish at time when choosing our next president. Everyone wants to be taken care of, to be "helped" out...but it still amazes me how many people a) haven't even looked at the candidates and are voting based on party lines, race (yah, seriously), or a few one liners they've heard on the news. Look into the person (left, right, or middle) who you will be giving your vote to. Know the issues, know where the candidates stand, check out voting records, vote w/ conviction...

Ok, so that was a little bit of a rant considering I hadn't felt like getting into this, lol. But I guess it's something Jon and I are both very passionate about so maybe expect to hear more... :)

Sooo....

You are never going to believe this...but....

it's another girl :)

I wish I had a camera on me when I told Corbin. Poor thing, lol. I'll admit it. I feel his pain...well, maybe not as much as him but still. I was thinking an awful lot about it being a boy but that mostly because of Corbin. He's soo much more into this whole baby thing than anyone, I'm not even kidding. At night when we pray before sleep, he always says "mommy, I have something to say to Jesus..." and then he proceeds to pray for "mommy's baby in her tummy". He's constantly finding things in the house we can use for the new baby...points out things for the baby while we're out shopping....asks me, pretty much on a daily basis, "so mommy, how's your tummy feeling?". He really wanted it to be a boy for him. It's all good tho. I'm excited. Corbin's getting over it. Jon's freaking out, lol. 3 GIRLS!!! I can't imagine what she's going to look like...

Today's the day :)

Boy or girl...what do you think??

5 more days...

...until we find out what we're having!! (well hopefully :) I think I'm going to surprise Olivia and get her out of school early that day so she can come see the baby. Corbin's been able to come to my other Dr. visits and hear the heartbeat and all that. I think it'd be kinda cool to pick up early from school and spend the afternoon w/ her. We'll see...
