I've decided to respond to Pooj's comment. I am going to give Indians the benefit of the doubt. Its probabaly only a small portion of Indians.. Like ALL of the people on my host brother's friends list. Maybe using netspeak is like their little act of rebellion against their parents. "We refuse to use your 'proper' english, we are going to instead really stick it to the man and use headache inducing webspeak! This way even if our parents do happen to read what we are typing they will be too blinded by their bleeding corneas to want to read any more!" Its actually genious if you think about it!
