| | I was driving back from Tonkawa just now and wondering what to post
about. I've got everything, like how I went to Sacramento for fencing
nationals and how Annette's gone for two weeks in Japan and how I've finally
started flying lessons again and how my family's taking a vacation
white water rafting down the Colorado river and. And. And... I'm going
to post about them all in installments later. Today's post is a list of
objects always found in my car.
1. an empty water bottle
2. at least one Weezer CD
3. a jar of Grey Poupon (partly because it's an inside joke, and partly
because I think everyone needs a jar of Grey Poupon in their car)
4. this piece of gum that's been there for, I dunno, five months? I might still eat it, you know.
5. eleventy billion pennies
6. a piece of popcorn I can't get out from under the seat tracks
Speaking of Weezer, they played "This Is Such a Pity" at work the other
day. I didn't know if I should be happy or offended, because Penney's
only plays old people music and easy listening. They sandwiched it in
between some pop song and that one song that's like "they paved
paradise and put up a parking lot," too. I hate that song so much. I
worked at Penney's two years ago when they started playing it, and it's
STILL on the playlist. It's like the artist's mother is in charge of
department store music everywhere. She must be stopped.
Uh. Yeah.
Well, I have two flights tomorrow-- a regular one and a big honking test. So goodnight.
