Here is the front door, and old grouch. Not really, this is the front door to the clubhouse where all the fun takes place. There is a formal dining, and bar area, mens and womens room, card area, patio, etc
We hang out here from time to time.
This is the clubhouse from the back, facing the golf course, and just over to the east is our home.
This the real front door, I am not in love with the brown, but we just moved in last year, and haven't had the money or the time to repaint the outside.
You have seen the bar before, but here it is again, this is Skooter's Room, he decorates, so if you want to know.

This is where we watch television, and build fires in the winter. Sorry, I didn't clean up, and that is the ole grouch's tennis shoes over to the right. He watches baseball when I am on bloggy duty.

This is where we eat. That curtain next to the curio cabinet, goes into the next room. Actually you can open it, and hand stuff into the next room. One of the quirks of having an old house.
We are remodeling the rest of the kitchen so that is all you get.

This is my latest project. My son said when we bought the house he loved his bathroom because the wallpaper was scene. Yep, it was scene. 1970's scene. So while he was in Colorado, I stripped the wallpaper, and painted the walls blue, and hung up some of the family beach photos. He hasn't complained.

Another quirk of the old house, swinging doors to hide the potty. Everyone wanted me to take them down, but I don't know, I just think they are cool. I know, I am weird.

This is the endless stack of books by my bed. Again, I didn't clean, sorry, I am not a cleaner, and I don't have a cleaning lady. Skooter doesn't see the value in that. Aarrggghhh.

I like the backyard, because we barely have neighbors, they are weekenders, and the weekends are few. Actually, I have never met them. I went out early to take this picture, yes it is hot. The mister is for the dogs.

And last, but not least the room where it all happens. This is also the guest room, so when I have guest I make them sit outside while I Xanga, muahaha. Not really, but I jones a bit.
Well, I think I have covered everything required by the rules. It is small, but we are a small family, and being that I don't like to clean too much, small is good.
Peace, Love, and Energy,
Tricia
Our House
I'll light the fire, you put the flowers in the
vase that you bought today.
Staring at the fire for hours and hours while I listen to you
Play your love songs all night long for me, only for me.
Come to me now and rest your head for just five minutes, everything is good.
Such a cozy room, the windows are illuminated by the
Sunshine through them, fiery gems for you, only for you.
Our house is a very, very fine house with two cats in the yard, life used to be
so hard,
Now everything is easy cause of you and our la, la, la:

Good afternoon Tricia! I love your place..the brown I could live with....but I know...when it isn't your thing, it just bugs the crap out of you! lol Ol Grouch is looking pretty relaxed in all those pics. :) You have a nice home, Tricia. You've seen what I am renting....yours is looking very nice!!!!!!
Hope you and Scott have a good weekend....did you hear if son and sis made it safely?
Tricia - I see now!!
How lovely your home is!! Cool! Thanks for sharing...My house is too messy to take pix of...
Always teenagers laying around with bags of chips, and coke cans everywhere...blah!!
Love, Candy
You have a great place! How nice to live in a community with a clubhouse like that one!
RYC: ACK! I missed Johnny!! Oh well, maybe someone recorded it and will put the show on YouTube or something, lol. My camera is AWOL and the only other one I would have access to is in Myrtle Beach with my daughter. With 5 kids in the house, mine isn't much to see anyway!
Maybe when she gets back...
Great job! I'll link ya!
(PS, really, the brown's not that bad.)
I didn't see all your pics the first time...very lovely...can't wait to see the rest! As for the comment you left...You are exactly right. I don't hate my job, except last year, I did. :( It is the fact that for 9 months out of my life, NLCS owns me. Literally. I go to work, have all the stress related to kids and their parents, then come home to more school work. This year, I have to find some sort of break in that cycle. I have enjoyed my weekends with Doug so much that I will be a royal beeotch if I have to sacrifice my time with him. And also Annie will be driving once school is in swing. More stress. I like you house and look forward to the day when I am owning my own house again. I really miss that. :( Oh well...the trade offs of divorce! BTW....July 22nd was my 2 year anniversary from cutting the cord. I have come a long way! :)
Well sister....we will have to just vent together. I won't think any less of you as a teacher if you won't think any less of me! :O Love and hugs...Lori
Hey Tricia,
RYC: Naw, I would never hate you for disagreeing with me!!....I don't think my opinion is always right that's for sure. Did you know they lived in a school bus for a while?? I just think he's full of himself. Did you here about how he was on a morning talk show that Ozzy Osbourne was on...He wanted to meet Ozzy....Ozzy so dislikes Rusty that he refused to meet him...I got a kick out of that one....hehe Wonder why he was so gung ho to meet Ozzy...I thought he was "Mr. Chritianity"...haha
I'll take Ozzy over Rusty Yates anyday....
