Happy Capitalism Day

Currently Watching
Kill Bill, Volume 1

So yeah, Happy Capitalism Day and all that.

I had a long post planned out, but I can't remember what I was gonna write at all.

Oh, about today.

Today was slightly weird.  Apparently, my grandparents didn't know I was atheist.  My grandmother took it okay, but my grandfather........ech. Let's just say we haven't spoken since this morning.

Every Christmas morning, we have a program where we sing, read some things, and the open our presents.  Since I don't celebrate Christmas, I went downstairs and I watched Around the World in 80 Days.  And wtf, Arnold Schwarzeneggar as a Turkish Prince?  Seriously, Disney, wtf.

Anyway, I haven't done jack squat all day today.  I woke up, watching some Return of the King, then I watched Mr. 3000, then Around the World In 80 Days, then Resorvoir Dogs, Pulp Fiction, Jackie Brown, and now Kill BIll Vol. 1.  I'll watch Kill Bill Vol 2 next.

It's a Tarentino Capitalism Day.

So here's what I got for Capitalism Day:

13,150 dollars and a MoneyMarket account
Chronicles of Narnia (all the books in one-volume)
Some Beethoven CD

My father's sending something in the mail, and my grandmother said she get me something later on if I wanted it.

My uncle said he would give me money, and I would've accepted but earlier he made some comments about my logic.  He didn't even try to disproof it, he knew it was right, he just ridiculed it to make it seem less valid.  And this was at like 7am.  I don't need that shit right after I wake up in the morning.  Especially from him.

Also, I refuse to drive his car anymore.  I will not be bribed.  Earlier he had the nerve to tell my mother "He doesn't even say 'Hi' to me anymore," sounding hurt.  The fuck?  YOU TRIED TO KILL ME, AND YOU THINK WE CAN BE BUDDY BUDDY NOW

Fuck that bullshit.

Anyway, for my first celebration of Capitalism Day, it was about as well as I could've hoped being in a family of religious people.

Gah, my mother is so annoying to watch movies with.  The fight scene in the club on Kill Bill is on, and she's all, "This doesn't make any sense, why don't they just shoot her?"

Damn shut up and let me enjoy the movie.

Hrm, I want the soundtrack for Vol 1.

Hey Hank.

I'm probably the only born again W.A.S.P that agrees with you that Christmas is all about capitalism.

People keep trying to tell me that it's Jesus' birthday.

His birthday is in the summer.

Idiots.

And I'm a huge Tarantino fan, but the only good songs from Vol. 1 are 'Battle Without Honor or Humanity' by Tomoyasu Hotei and 'Nobody But Me' by the Human Beinz, the rest is just pan flute or Ironside. (Well, maybe Bang Bang as well...)

Hank, I'm pretty sure I hate you too. I would say Capitalism Day is a good idea, but it doesn't seem to have worked out all that well for you, since you spent the entire day watching either Tarentino movies or Disney B movies that don't make much sense. My mom analyzes Kill Bill too. Are you renaming all major religious holidays? Can't wait for Easter then.
