| | What's the big deal with prom? Is it supposedly that
important? I don't have a desire/reason/want/need/ or even a whim
to go to prom.
So my family is all asking about prom and stuff. And when I say I
don't think I'm going, they're all freaking out. Now most of my
family freaking out, I really don't give a shit about. BUt my
grandparents...that concerns me.
Actually, it really doesn't.
But seriously, they're all, "Not go to prom? That's an important
social event! You can't just be academic! You can't be one
and not the other!"
So I'm just like, "yeah.....whatever."
On my classes, I'll probably change AP Biology to Student Office Aid,
since we probably won't have AP Biology anyway. Both AP science
classes won't make, and more people will sign up for AP Chem than AP
Bio. Anyway, if they do have it, I'll just switch out.
Siegel and Caldwell will understand. I've heard we're getting an
AP Comp Sci class too. If so, then I'll definitely take that.
And what's this about a swim team?
Anyway, I just realized that my SAT Reasoning test is April 1st, and my
ACT is April 8th. Which is only like a month away. I need
to work harder on my Math prep. On my practice tests, I've
started consistently netting 800s on the Verbal and Writing
sections. Now if I can just get my practice SAT Math score to
800. I probably won't get all 800s on the actual test, but I
won't be below 700 either, so I'll be set.
V+M 1420+ is all I need.
Oh yeah! First two track meets of the season were this
week. At Campbell I got 2nd in the 300m Hurdles, with a
time of 49 seconds. I ran 48 at region last year, so ech.
But then at South Cobb, I completely destroyed their hurdles. I
was in 2nd heat, and got 1st place, by like 3+ seconds. I had a
clear 50 meter lead, it was beautiful.
That only means they suck though, since I just ran a 47. In order
to make finals, I need to be in the 42-43 second range, and in order to
go to state, I need to be around 40 seconds.
I have work to do.
