Hank, seriously, we're a lot alike, and less than a month ago I was where you are now. I hated everything about myself, thought I should get medication and/or therapy (probably still true), felt like I sucked as a human being, etc. And it is hard to function. I felt like sleeping all the time or just watching TV. It's hard to get through.

But you can do it. Keep your eye on the prize - survive finals and look forward to 6 weeks of happiness. Try again, refreshed. Take less classes if you can't handle the load. Go out and meet people. I'm trying a bunch of things - switching halls, hopefully getting into ESG (which looks good on many levels), etc.

Don't wait for it to happen. That was my mistake for too long. MAKE things happen and have no regrets. ('cause if you're anything like me, you look back and keep kicking yourself for things you can't change)
