So I just got an e-mail basically saying that I should stop going to 18.01 since there's no possible way for me to pass it.

Basically, I can't pass a math class here.

I need to get to know some professors spring term so I have the ability to transfer out of here.

Also, I developed a headache at around 4pm, and it has been raging ever since.

You know, I never had a headache before I came here

Edit@11:22am: Cured my headache with three times the recommended dose of ibuprofen about 12 hours earlier.  Ordered breakfast, and halfway through my stomach is raging again.

uh, what? didn't you just start a semester, or quarter? how can you have done so badly as to not be able to pass within the first week and a half (or less)??

Craig sent it. I sent an e-mail back asking how much I would need to improve for the last three tests, and whether the fact that I have to redo all the psets would help matters. Still waiting on that response.

It's only a 4 week class over IAP, which is our January intersession, so we're about halfway through.

Apparently, you have to pass all the tests to get credit anyway, so even if I did amazing on the remaining tests, I might not be able to get credit regardless?

When have you ever needed to pass all the tests in an MIT class to get credit? I can think of so many people who would have failed so many classes if that were actually a rule...

Good luck man, whatever ends up happening.
