Poor Frankie died today. We believe he died of heat stroke because the temperature traveled up to 93 degrees by 4:57 (p.m. of course). For any of you who have poor memories, Frankie was Katie's bunny.  I'm smacking myself on the head because my friend just told me yesterday that most of the rabbits in Southern California had died from a heat wave in the spring (late winter?). My brain usually makes connections with things like that; I should have thought to tell Katie to bring her bunny inside when I heard the weather report. Botheration.
