Well...that was a long week. The week before *seemed* busier...but this week has made me tired.

Did I mention ever that Guinevere followed in Eusebius's foot steps? Alas. Poor duck. With justice the raccoon has been served, however. His skin is tacked out on the porch with salt stuff on it. Daddy bought 4 new ducks and a goose. I think I shall name the goose Notker. Daddy also put electric wire along the top of the duck pen and the chicken pen. Unfortunately, it is very near my head level; I almost forgot about it last time I walked into the chicken pen.

The kittens are under the house now.  I guess the mother got tired of us. When she hadn't taken them away for two whole weeks, I thought she would be ok for the rest of the time. The youngest one had only just begun to open his eyes. I miss them.

WOW. *I'm* tired and emotional tonight. Let me think if anything HAPPY happened today. Aha! I turned in my GB paper! Now it's only slightly late instead of very-much-so. Whee! And I talked to some of my happy people today. You know, I think the main reason I'm unhappy is I spent too much time on the computer today. I should go read a book. Good night, y'all.
