In all the excitement of finding 'the perfect dress' I forgot to mention what the hubby has been up to lately.  Besides finding a new home for our unused boat, he came up with the following way to spend that money:

Yes.....another Ebay car.  (This makes our third.)  He bought this yesterday afternoon.  Its somewhere near Philadelphia, PA.  That means this Friday, he and our son will be taking off to make the 700+/- mile drive to pick up the car.  Yes, two (count 'em! two!) weeks before the wedding, and they'll be gone Friday and most of Saturday.  Thanks honey, your thoughtfulness is always such a boon to our relationship (even if it IS your birthday).

But isn't she a sweet little thing?  One owner.  Legit.  He ran a carfax on it before he made the buy.  4-speed, to boot.  *Vroom!*  I can't wait to drive it.    I haven't had a convertible since the first car I owned, and a stick shift since he sold my cute little '69 Firebird.  (Which I'm still not sure I have forgiven him for....)   The picture is a bit misleading, due to the sunlight.  The color actually flip-flops between midnight blue and purple, depending on the lighting. 

*sigh*  Boys and their toys....but at least he picked a good color.
