Calm before the storm

So one of my mid terms is over with. THe paper wasn't half as bad as I expected it to be which is bad becuase I'd rather the entire class do badly than everyone do well because that'd just destroy us on the second midterm granted that the professor thinks we're a lot smart that we really are. haha.

Besides that, had a couple on interesting thoughts. One of my housemates has the opinion that dogs were meant to NOT be raised in the wild. Oh...My....God...... That's so most entirely true isn't it? That's why dogs have been in the households of man since the start of time? Oh.....My....God. I don't really even know what to say. But then again he has some really really wierd beliefs so I shan't question them. They annoy me but everyone's entitled to what they think/belief and I have shared some of my own opinions with him so I guess I'll leave it at that. He's happy with whatever he believes in and I should be happy he is too. One fine day, his bubble will burst but ah, that's a story for him to tell, not me.

I was watching a documentary on TV the other day on Michael Jackson and his perceived upbringing and it shows many a disturbing thing. But then again that's the image the TV networks wanted to project. I'm not protecting or even on Michael Jackson's side. But it's quite sad and I bet the quotations and interviews were taken slightly (if not entirely) out of context and it's quite sad what the media can do to destroy a person's image and respectability/reputation.

Which brings me to the Asian Man Syndrome. LOL. Strange how my head works. But this topic came up when some beech of a European(hypocrite and a total asshole, imo) mentioned the fact that Asian girls are hot and while he has the option of  pursueing a white caucasian female, he also has the option of easily getting an Asian female as well. Which brings me to cry out the unjustness of this system. But admittedly, I think it's quite true. Interesting paradox because I think that the more English educated ones tend to lean more towards the Western world and all it's delights. Which includes men. While the more Asian educated asians would lean more towards the Asian side and indulge in what I would call blatant 'ah-lian'ness. haha. So what choice should we take now? what path should we go down? We're screwed.

Bah. Reading over my own writing I think my grammar has absolutely, ABSOLUTELY gone out the window and I apologize for that. I'm sleepy...haha. Wish Cushla was around to hear me say that. LOL. ^^
