Well, it’s been a long time since I’ve written. I’m actually on my Raya holiday and blogging to you people all the way from Perth. There’s no free internet nearby for me to check my mail and check on my celebrity gossip but I’ve watched plenty of movies via my laptop. Quite glad that I brought it along actually, I’ve managed to catch up on some of my series. I’ve caught up with heroes, CSI, bionic woman and watched 300, dejavu, meet the fockers, wild hogs, oceans 13, blades of glory..oh..forgot about desperate housewives. Haha. So I’ve actually had quite a busy holiday just catching up on my movies.

Besides that, managed to get around Perth quite a fair bit and also managed to catch Evelyn, quite nice to catch up and I’ve just realized that it’s been a long while since I’ve gone out with any friends (females) on a 1-to-1 basis and had a good chat. Hell, I haven’t even been out in KL for quite some time with anyone in a long while as well.

Work starts again shortly for me, I’ll be flying back tomorrow and arriving late. I have no idea what was going through my mind at the time I agreed to go back to work on Wednesday considering this would give me 0 time to recover from the flight and get back into sync with the horrible Malaysian weather. The weather here has been quite fantastic, nothing overly cold but just nice enough for a jacket and nice enough to go strolling about without working up a sweat and having a jolly good time when settling into bed.

Took a lot of pictures while I was here…quite happy that I dragged and persuaded myself to bring my big camera over. Most of the pictures actually consist of the foods we’ve consumed over the past week. Haha. We had a lot …and I mean A LOT Of rich food…some insane amounts of seafood and I can just see my cholesterol level climbing and breaking through the ‘safe’ barrier. Haha. Besides that, managed to get a couple of scenic shots and we went whale watching as well but I didn’t to actually manage to get any pictures of the whales (proper ones) because the whales were really far away and they didn’t really surface as a whole.

Will try to post some pictures once I’ve had the time to develop and shrink them a little bit. Only problem with these new pictures from my big camera is the fact that all the damn files are actually so big and take up so much storage page that makes it awfully difficult to upload quickly. At any rate, I have a couple of pictures I really like and a couple of pictures that I’ll probably delete once I’ve viewed them on my computer. So many things to do and so many other shows to catch up downloading on. Sigh it just never ends. Haha. Not to mention I’ve actually got to stuff work in between but coming here does open my eyes again.

Some part of my actually wants to continue studying again because it’s just nice to lead a relaxing life and kind of just enjoy the singledom of staying alone and cooking for myself and not having to worry about making money kind of thing. The other thing I’m not so sure about is whether I can actually bring myself to do it. It’s not to say that I do not enjoy work, I actually don’t mind the working life so much, it’s just the kind of ridiculous hours we put in. Am I actually financially compensated enough to take the kind of abuse via the hours I’m putting in? I’m not so sure.

Okay, at any rate, it’s time for me to shower and bade my last night here farewell.
