  • party THE WEDDING! Susan Gale Kent marries Justin Thompson--a boy from the south.

The wedding was so much fun! My sisters where beautiful, especially Susan, and it was all like a lovely, wonderful family reunion.

I am the tall blonde girl, two to the left of the bride. My older sister Ruthie stands between the bride and myself, followed by Marie, Emily, my sister ARI, Christian, and our little sister Ashley!

One of the nicest bits was being able to drive down with a portion of my family. Here is Wesley and I hanging out and being silly on, probably somewhere in the massive and expansive plains of Virginia.

Dad looks happy walking Susan down the aisle, but Susan beams with even more happiness. Dad, Mom, and I bought and arranged the flowers the night before, after the flowers Susan ordered fell through. I thought they turned out smashing!

Behind the scenes before commencement. Before the wedding, all the girls and guys hung out and got ready. Ashley, my little sister, was so beautiful, and is the spitting image of our mom.

I'm sorry I've not responded to your post before now. You asked me a question and it would be rude of me to leave it unanswered. As I "descend upon" Glasgow, it will not be the "fruit of the vine" that I crave, but rather that of wheat, hops & barley. I really have no taste for wine, but I'm quite a fan of good beer (far from my Baptist prohibitionist roots). I'm quite looking forward to visiting a few pubs in my week long stay. Something about the setting and 'a pint'. Look forward to seeing you all in March.

hey Rachel, you need to update this thing!

I am so jealous that you have such a special guest! Be sure and say Hi from me!

We are leaving for the wedding on Thursday. I am so excited that we are going to be there! So, are you the only regular resident of that big 'ol flat now? Adn, have you seen the baby?!?!?! I feel like I am missing so much!

Take care! and update your xanga!
  • LadySadie
um... those are some serious demands for someone who hasn't updated since November!

So... Elliott starts work on Tuesday which means I will be all alone and free to update. The wedding was beautiful! (you were missed!) More soon, I promise!
