After a LONG time

see relatedThe winter monthes are over here, and though they were quite horrible and dark, the sunlight of these present Glaswegian days has been very effective in erradicating their memory.
Yesterday I made some curry (tikka masala with quorn!) and hoped to go out and enjoy it our lovely little backyard, but found our neighbors already hogging it with their guitars and friends and dog. For some reason I stayed inside. They seemed to want private idylicy.
My friend Paul from back home was just here for the week and his visit was lots of fun. I find I have changed since I left, and Paul is not so lanky anymore. In fact, he is making BIG bucks as the combination of his teaching and organist job. My friends from work (already a little tipsy after a round or two following work) loved Paul, and bought him drink after drink. All in all, he had a hilarious Glasgwegian experience, all dressed in his khakis and starched, blue collared dress shirt.
It has pretty much just been Kopel and me here for a number of weeks since Kara went away to be married, but in the mean time we've had plenty of interesting and lovely guests from Alana to Paul. I have been away to the south of France, and hope to post some pictures of that soon! But now, alas, it is time to iron those familiar black waitress clothes so I can trip along to work, to amass my savings so that my trip home to PHILADELPHIA in May will stand as idyllic and sustainable!
Pictures soon! Cheers..
