I love Free Days

Tomorrow is a free day!

"I'm not going to school tomorrow. I'm skipping it."
"?!? Why?!"
"I'm going to prepare for the Olympics, so no more school, prelims or O Levels."

So there.

During O Level Oral Exam today, I realised that I'm schizophrenic. I have two sides. The other me is a professional beach volleyball team player who enters tournaments on Palawan Beach in Sentosa, who visits Kusu Island on scientific trips, creates mounds of sand for natural underground habitats of sand crabs (?!?), made a new rule that people cannot wear jeans to the beach, participated in a class competition to build a campfire and alot of other crap that came to my mind.

Don't laugh. I just have a very fertile imagination, that could really be futile actually.

I created a new word today, sand crabs. Does it exist? I do hope so. I made it up during picture discussion today.. Oh it was so horrible. I was rambling and talking and the best part was, none of it was related to the picture and instead of describing what the people were doing, I described what I did on the beach. oops.

ANTM now. I love tomorrow, my free day! study study mug mug hard.

Happy Birthday!

4G loves Singapore, and I love Singapore too. I like red and white actually. If you wear it well you don't look like the Singapore flag. I wish I could join the Olympics and win a gold for Singapore, but I think that can only be achieved in my dreams. Oh Tao Li is really amazing, and so is Michael Phelphs and Stephanie Rise. I must learn how to swim too.

The Olympic Game I dont like to watch the most is Weightlifting. I squint my eyes, a little worried that the weight will drop on the weightlifter... brrrrrr. how scary.

Today was the first day of Prelims. When me and Andrea left school, the guards stopped us. It was really quite funny actually, we got stopped for truancy! and we were so happy leaving school somemore.

Guard: "Uhh girls, you have permission to leave school?"
Us: "No no.. we just finished our exams."

And guess what! I just realised that we were speaking in Chinese. goodness. haha. now that's really funny.

I need to do some retail therapy after Prelims. I need to find something to wear for the Huiwen&Wenxun wedding! mega excited. I love love love weddings.

okay, must go back to study.

Founders' Day 2008

So after the Founders Day morning service, I went home and then met Zhang to do hair! after months of suffering with long short thick hair, I cut some off! I would like to have cut more actually, but the hairdresser said cannot cannot! and so, I didn't cut. then we did make-up at Hollywood's Secrets at Paragon.

The dance girls! Oh they were really really good and the next thing you know, everyone's cheering wildly for them. encore encore! heh.

and yes, ANTM strikes back again! Oh wow I can't wait for Cycle 11! Andrea posted about it on her blog and the theme looks so harem-harem instead of futuristic. kind of weird.

Anyway, watch tonight's episode of Cycle 9 on Channel 5. It's the best episode of the cycle when they go on 'go-sees' and I think Jenah's really beautiful in her pictures. Pity that the judges don't like her "attitude". Actually I feel that she's very real. Maybe she got into some kind of fight with the camera crew so they keep taking her when she's not in the best of attitude and moods. oh well.

Me and Miss Tan. I still owe her an essay essay skeleton from term one last year. It was my 4th draft too. I'm really bad at English haha.

Chennai Lucky 10! oh boy I really want to go back to Chennai now. all those fun crazy and super super super mad fun we had in the hotel rooms at night.

Then there were performances by the class reps and our batch sang the school song all on the stage. I'm still amazed how the stage didn't collapse. I mean, okay there's an estimated 250 girls onstage, taking that everyone's 50kg each, so the stage will hold about 12,500kg of people and that's amazing.

I injured my right hand 4th finger yesterday while closing the window. I slammed the window shut and left my finger there so it got hit and ow ow ow it really hurt! funny thing is, up to now, the tip still feels numb. I can't feel anything with my 4th finger. I think my sensory neurons have been permanently damaged. Well at least, I take comfort that its not my 4th finger on my left hand, and neither is it going to affect my Fleming's Right-Hand Rule. hahaha.

Tomorrow we paint our school red and white.

One more week to prelims. I have this apathetic feeling. I'm scared I may have 'burn-out'! okay darn never mind. I need more motivation and push. okay 1 more minute before I throw myself back into studying.

8.45pm- Initial D! heh. Edison Chen's in it. yay, haha.

ANTM Cycle 11 starts on 3 September! Me and Andrea are extremely excited. oh boy oh boy I just can't wait! They're adopting this futuristic style so Jay Manuel's hair is now super Westlife/Backstreet Boys :D :D :D He'll look 20 years younger and then he's just the right age for me, 16. (: heh. I'm really excited! And J. Alexander gets Saleisha's new hairstyle in a white colour.

Tomorrow there is Prefects' Installation. I'm really glad I've listened to my sister's very first piece of advice when I was in Sec One. okay fine it got me into scraps and stuff but I'm still very happy that I followed her advice and I'm good and all. (: I'll miss my juniors especially those who I always talk to and irritate like Annabelle and Kattay and all.

I had this extremely weird dream last night about Lucius Fox in Batman and the plot from the Sweeney Todd's movie. Oh boy it was so gory. It's like he invented this machine that chops up people's bodies and sucks out their blood and stuff so like although their bodies are in one piece its all um, soft, smushy and lumpy and bloody.

And then the bodies were thrown into closets and lockers and I was sort of investigating such a case. Then I saw Harvey Dent whom in the dream was called Harvey Norman who was dying and was talking to me.

And then I woke up, a bit stunned by the goriness of my dream.

Then I went back to sleep and dreamt about Swim Meet and we were amazed at how clean the toilets were and finding chairs, for I dont know what. This has just gotten officially weird. I'm amused. haha. (:

Tar's got over my heart, and I aint mean I smoke.

I was so angry today. I got even more extremely angry when I went home, no not because of my family, oh they've been awesome, but this school issue that got me very very very furious and frustrated. I shan't post it up here because I'm so jolly well certain that walls have ears, doors have eyes, and blogs are open windows that everyone can access to and I'm not letting anyone get into my thoughts. hmm. that sounds really emo, but I was so darn angry just now.

I wish I had more guts. really.

Oh Foo Yiling! haha (: sorry for scaring you just now. I wasn't that bad in my smses was I? Anyway, I wasn't in the best of moods. But thanks for hearing me rant for awhile. love you lots xoxooooooooo! haha.

My parents bought Gnochi (pronounced as 'noki') back yesterday. (: oh its really good! I think its some Italian semolina balls in sauce or something. not too sure, but its really really yummy.

The cab driver was really nice today. I was short of money and had to call my maid to bring some moolah down but he was like no no its okay because of all that surcharge. I thought it was really nice of the cab driver. But anyway I did pay la.

One of the best cab rides I ever had. The cab was so big and I could put my file and books and bag along the whole seat and I could still have enough space to sit. (: Then the cab driver was telling me about his family and how I really musn't worry about O Levels and just do my best. haha. I do enjoy talking to cab drivers sometimes, especially those who arent forever complaining about the ERP, the "500m oh I see a traffic light", the cars on the highway and so on and so forth. rather fascinating.

New seating arrangements. It's back to me zhang ivfen! Narnia girls.

I have yet to post Founders' Day pictures. I'll do so on a happier day.
