I don't have tons of progress to report on my works in progress. (Lots of baby-holding this week, not so much knitting.)
So, instead, I'll own up to yet another work currently on the needles.

This is the recently-finished back of a sweater I'm knitting from the book I
mentioned before. I'm doing
this sweater, only in sage green with cream trim.
The sage green is Bouton d'Or's
New Bamboo in Vigne. It's viscose spun from bamboo by some mysterious process which makes it impossible for me to decide whether this is a natural or synthetic yarn. It feels nice and silky, though--not scratchy-squeaky like acrylic or nylon.
The cream is a little
KnitPicks Shine that I had leftover from Theo's summer blanket.
Those are both sport-weight yarns, so I'm using 3.5 mm needles.
The size is supposed to be 12-months. But I don't know how a French 12-months size will compare to Theo, so who knows what baby this will be for. All the more so considering that Theo may be graduating from Kindergarten before I finish it.
So many WIPs. So little knitting time.
Believe it or not, I'm only owning up to those that are currently on the needles and out it my work baskets, scattered around the house. Not ones that I've stuffed to the bottom of the hope chest for an indeterminate amount of time.
