Now that I've had several weeks' respite from the Baptismal Gown That Never Ends (which finally ended), I don't start twitching madly when I see laceweight yarn and size 000 needles.
So, I've taken up my
spider shawl again.

I just counted: I'm on row 240 of 544 (not counting the beginning and ending borders, which are knitted sideways). So, I'm 44% of the way finished! Yay me.
I've been trying to knit at least two rows a day, which takes approximately 15 minutes. So, if I continue on at this pace, I should be done . . . oh, I don't know, about the same time I'm finished my dissertation (on which I'm working about two sentences a day). But we don't really need to talk about that, do we?

Lovely colors. Baby steps, PariSarah, babysteps. Just keep telling yourself "the dissertation and the shawl will get done" all yoga-like, lol.
Awww...you'll make it! I think you have a great plan!
