What is your opinion on adoption?
I'm actually anti-adoption. I'm also pro-cancer, terrorism, divorce, bankruptcy and death.
I mean come on who really thinks that adoption is a bad idea? Even if you don't like the system (which sucks by the way, I've known the sweetest people on earth, the most loving couple ever, get denied because they have this Bible-thick book of regulations so the kids don't get exploited. Still somehow the creeps get through....) most moral or at least vaguely compassionate people believe that raising a child in a family is more effective and will lead to a happier life than the child left in an orphanage (or "group home" so the life there doesn't sound so terrible).I just answered this Featured Question, you can answer it too!

I don't think people tend to be actually anti-adoption, but there are a lot of people who are aware of the negative aspects of adoption, and the harm that well-meaning and loving people can do without knowing it. I think that's what the question is meant to prompt people to explore.
