my dreams...

I wish I were in Beijing for the Olympics. Watching the opening of the Olympics, the 100m showdown and gymnastics will be a dream come true for me. Another is the football world cup final or any match involving Brazil. Of course, I also wish to visit Jerusalem and other places to see how Jesus lived and shared His teachings with the people.

Of course, I have smaller dreams and other wishes too.

Do you wish you were in Beijing now? What are your dreams? All praises to Him and Him only

SINCE MY LAST POST.......

Many things have happened since I last posted here. We had our general election in March which resulted in a change of government in four states. The federal government still remains in the hands of the same government.  But this government does not enjoy the same majority it had before the March 8 elections, There are more opposition members in our Parliament now and  that for me is good news. Voting has been less on racial lines unlike previous elections.

And yes, since my last post, the best news thus far is Obama has won the democrat party race. Hope he wins the presidency. Then I will salute the American people. Hope they will vote into office the best man without seeing his colour. Forgive me for being a bit sceptical.

I am still learning Mandarin, my fourth language, but on a slower pace. And I am now starting to learn cooking. Quite nice to see a lot of men are quite good in whipping up great dishes. Maybe I should  join them. Haha. I have been thinking of opening a restautant or language school. Maybe who knows.

And yes, I have joined facebook. Am enjoying throwing bowls of pain on vampires, werewolves and throwing friends  to them. Also mob wars, sea battles, sending roses here and there, superpokes and mousehunts, And I already have 42 friends.

Since my last post, my life with the Lord has had its ups and downs but I am still there, waiting for a place in His Kingdom. Keep in touch, people. All praises and glory to Him only.

If Obama wins the US presidency in November, I am moving to the US. That is for sure! Jokes aside, we are having our own elections here on March 8.

This will be the fifth election that I am participating in as a voter. The other day I met a candidate, who asked me if I would vote for him. My answer was quite frank: "At the moment, no!" I told him I might change my mind but he has to work hard to convince me and many others. Haha, after he left, my wife told me I look and talked more like a politician than that guy. We will have to wait and see.

WITHOUT U I AM NOTHING

Christ once told his followers and listeners: "Without me, you are nothing". That quote rings in my mind now and then. We are really nothing without Him.

We can run away from him. We can make money by the tonnes. We can enjoy all we want and even forget Him for all we care.  But without Him in our lives, we are really nothing. He completes our life. He makes us complete. All praises and glory to Him and Him only.

ALL PRAISES TO HIM

I have had cataracts in both eyes for nearly two years. On May 17, I went for surgery to remove the one in my left eye. It has been more than a month now and so far there has not been any complications save a few minor irritations now and then..

. The surgery was painless and I saw the surgeon perform the procedure. Your heart must be strong to see the surgeon do that to your eye.  But I put my trust in the Lord and went for the operation. I asked Him for good sight to be restored. He has heard my prayer. Today I see well. I will go for the removal of the cataract in my right eye maybe a year from now. And I shall not worry.

  All praises to the Lord.

.
