  • its 3am now, i just watched chicago hope and its so freaggin saddddddddddd.

     

    so this mentally-disabled couple end up in hospital cos the guy, joe, has a heart condition and has to do surgery. his wife wants to conceive, but the doctor(gena) finds out that 15 years ago some other doctor sterilized her against her wish while performing another surgery.

    eventually joe survives the surgery, but they still cant achieve the dream of having a baby cos they'd never be allowed to adopt.  gena wanted to help them sue the doctor, but in the end the doctor turned up and apologized, despite being adamant that what he did 15 years ago was right.

    'so we cant adopt?'

    'im sorry.'

    'dont be sorry, i love joe, how worse can it get?'
