'Harry Potter' actor to be naked on stage

Daniel Radcliffe will strip off his Harry Potter eyeglasses and robes for his London stage debut next year.

The 17-year-old actor, who plays the bespectacled schoolboy wizard in the Hollywood adaptations of J.K. Rowling's novels, will star as a troubled stableboy in Peter Shaffer's "Equus." The play delves into the psyche of a boy named Alan Strang who blinds six horses with a metal spike. The production is scheduled to open next March in the West End theater district, said spokesman Peter Thompson.
In one scene the actor playing Strang is required to simulate sexual ecstasy while riding a horse naked. But Davies said nudity was not the focus of the play. (HT: KWCII).

The child actor to adult transition is always hard; I understand that... but representational beastiality seems like a, perhaps, poor way to start the transition.

Metro broke its all time annual ridership record, last week boarding over 205 million passengers since last July - a 5.3 percent increase from the previous year. Over the past week, Metro also recorded its seventh, eighth, and ninth highest ridership days ever.

AND THEN... there was a fire. 'For serious'...  I had just had to leave my office building because there was a fire on the 2nd floor. It doesn't seem to be anything big, but more details later... I am, however, SERIOUSLY PISSED that the fire alarms on MY floor didn't go off! I heard them from the floors below and could smell something.

Update: it was a trash fire on the 2nd floor. Calm has been restored to my little mini-universe. I'm still going to make inquiries about my alarms not going off. GRR!
