KPMG Says to Reject Legal Fee Claims of Former Employees as Trial Nears

KPMG LLP tells the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York it will reject the claims of more than a dozen former employees for legal fees as the workers fight charges of tax fraud and conspiracy. In a filing in Stein v. KPMG LLP, KPMG says it has no plans to pay any legal fees for former workers now indicted in connection with tax shelter activities as an October trial on the issue approaches.

regarding your post below. I'm SO sorry to hear that about your friend. She sounds really really young. How on earth did she die??? My heart goes out to her family, and especially that little boy of hers....that's just horrible....
