Driving up and down the east coast...makes me a tired, overwhelmed chico once I get into the office.
Hockey Night in Canada ... er... well NYC at MSG at least. Leafs v. Rangers!
Frankly, I was pretty impressed with how the iPhone did in challenging photo conditions.
Leafs in the lead (after some frustrating play on both teams)!
Leafs win! Suck it Rangers fans!! Actually, it was a pretty good game all in all. I was impressed that it was played pretty cleanly, despite some clear animosity on the ice. It was a great game, albeit expensive as all get out, and I was really glad to go and catch up with my best hockey friend.
So after bar crawling in Chelsea and midtown, we end up at a bar in Hoboken, NJ (don't ask). Needless to say, it was obviously a Halloween weekend and people were... um...very... 'jersey-festive'. So after driving up to NYC on Saturday, the game, partying Saturday night, recovering Sunday morning with some consumer-therapy at Berdorf's, and then driving back to D.C., which with traffic ended up taking until 11 PM. A rush to do some laundry and then up early on Monday morning to drive to Virginia. Clearly, I'm thrilled to be in Richmond, Virginia at 9:30 am.
But I come prepared, Burt's Bees and a brief case chock full of work (of which I didn't do nearly as much as I should have done).
Reason number 212 why I'll never be a hand model. I'm still loving my Frank Ghery ring though. Despite being from Tiffany's, it's still pretty unique. I've yet to run into someone else that has it.
And into the belly of the beast (insert Jaws music here): special sessions of the Supreme Court of the Commonwealth of Virginia. For being an attorney, I really don't like hanging out with other attorneys that much. and frankly was content when I got to get back on the road to D.C., only to have to take the train up to Maryland that night. Ugh. I'm tired. |
