| | Siva's Form of No Form
there is a thick crust on the snow this morning How can I follow my lord this way ? my Lord Siva, he has left no trace that I can find, whatever way I move he has gone, just as a bhuta leaves a used body there are so many ways he may have gone, upwards or downwards even my own prints are lost in this field of snow, crust and ice and what more he is the master of disguise, at times - the Man, then he is the Woman of the world dancing in the valley laughing now that he has stolen away without a word, I shall have to search it should be like all the other times, he has come and gone and each time he plays this game and I must find him anew once he played the part of Bhairava in the lila of Brahma then he was the lover with sati and went mad from grief now he has stolen away with his trisul and damaroo, secretly he has probably hidden himself away in some mountain cave thinking my eyes will not find him there, just as he used to hide in the trees, as Hanuman he played as a monkey and slept on branches but on these mountain slpoes, what can there be to help? all is barren and cold winds take all traces away, but what is this at my feet? The skin of a Naga, so brittle, it is so fragile in ths himalayan barrens, perhaps he is near? The sun is setting now and there is a crescent moon moving swiftly, I know my lord is close now, for the crescent is his symbol Chandra is setting over that hill, now I know I have found him ! there is the cave, snow is melting at the entrance, a sign, the fire of Siva's yoga is burning away the snow in steamy fits, there is a bright light being projected out the mouth of the cave, I see no shape within the opening, only the fire of yoga is there My Siva is master of disguise and only he could create this trick with this new one, he is hiding in the form of No Form.
