    My new year's resolution? To be resolute.

    Thanks for the comment, Shanny. I think you may be right. That pot-shot is very much in the same style as some of the bs I received in private correspondence from some of my ex-church. The funniest part of it, to me, is that not for show seems to be very upset that our little community here doesn't have the power to control one another. She/he is clearly obsessed with control. Imagine that--people are allowed to live their lives as they see fit and not for show can't do anything about it. How frustrating for her(him.)

    Hi there Shanny!  I didn't know that you were actually posting!  I will have to subscribe to your blog now because I like your vignettes. 

    I like this one especially.  I have my little book of dreams, but my Dad (or anyone I love who is like him in temperament) can break my resolution to act on my dreams by reacting to what I share with him with being negative about my abilities. 

    From him he thinks of it as loving concern. 

    To me it feels like, aha, this person knows I cannot do it, perhaps he is correct.

    I resolve to act on my dreams inspite of opposition, criticism, self-doubt...etc.
