| On the Road AgainWe're getting up tomorrow morning and driving to New Orleans. I hope my house has power! On the bright side, I found out at 7 pm that my office has power, so at least I will be there during the day if my house doesn't have power. And the whole city is supposed to have power in the next few days. But I really hope the power is back so I can get everything tidied up and not have to deal with the heat. I am also excited b/c my gym is opening up on Sunday. I have been sitting on my butt and eating junk food all week. Its time for this hurrication to end!! | | |
| Home SickSupposedly we can come back to New Orleans as of 12:59 pm Wed. night, but have to expect crappy conditions b/c power is not up everywhere. This is frustrating b/c I need to find out when my work expects me back and I also won't know whether or not we'll have power. I wish they would say what parts of the city do and don't have power. That would make my decision a lot easier b/c I frankly expect to encounter heavy traffic when I try to go home. I keep thinking what a nightmare it will be to deal with a really long drive to the city, only to be met with no power which means no AC. Ugh! | | |
| Take me back to New OrleansWell, the storm has pretty much passed over now. We got a good bit of wind and rain, but it was never scary. And I'm happy to hear that preliminary new from New Orleans is very positive. Now I just wanna know when I can go home!!!!!!! | | |
