Postcards from the Edge

From the edge of ending my vacation.  Ah sweet sorrow, these days just fly right on by.  Oh well, guess that's what makes them so special.  Not much to report here, just got all the Halloween decorations put up today.  Spending my time checking out stuff online, eating, listening to Aerosmith...in other words, just enjoying my vacation!

RYC: Ye Gods is right.  A colleague and I presented "The Case of the Missing Goose" at a forensic meeting in Indiana.  At the same time we presented "Sliding into Home...When Fraternity Pranks Go Bad."  In that case it was a contest to see who could eat the most WhiteCastle hamburgers (aka Sliders) in ten minutes.  One of the poor fellows got a little...ahem...choked up and Slid into the Funeral Home.  Sliding into Home...
