The good news is we finally have a baby.  The doctor's water broke around 1 am and she delivered at about 2:15am.  No epidural, no nuttin'.  4 pounds and so many ounces, 17 inches long.  Gonna have to stay about 10 days in the hospital but so far she's doin' ok.  As soon as I heard, the first thing I did was count up six weeks on the calendar which puts a return date back to the office of Feb. 15th.  The front office girls said I was cold.  I said I didn't want to go so long with just one doctor ever again.  On a related subject, there's not gonna be a doctor in the office tomorrow at all.  There's 3 blood draws scheduled and if they come in I'm sure the office manager will jump me for not cancelling them, but the chances of anything happening are miniscule and besides, I won't be there.  Anyway, it's easier to ask for forgiveness than for permission.
