"Have you ever been karmacly bitch-slapped by a six armed goddess?!"Well, I finished reading the book over the weekend, and as expected I was not let down. I honestly had no clue what to expect, and the surprises just kept coming fast & furious. Yes, there are charcters that die, but only once did I break down and cry. I knew I would at some point but when it happened it was completely unexpected. And that's all I'll tell you about it, so don't go asking for more  . The entire weekend was a lot of fun, even if it was subdued for us 'cause we were all reading. I took pictures of the pre-sale party we went to, but Jason got 'em all uploaded before I did, so head over to his site to see them if you've not already. I made chili Saturday 'cause I've heard more whining over it than I thought possible. This must be what it's like to have children. But at least we talked C&C to going to the coffee shop with us. I think I may have gotten Cristie addicted to bear blasts, lol. We're getting some much needed rain here. It rained all day yesterday, last night & most of today. I took a page from droptop's book & decided to go walking barefoot yesterday afternoon in the rain since I hadn't done it in so long. I'd forgotten just how nice it is. My brother-in-law is at my house right now trying to get my bathroom light fixed. For the last year the flourecent bulb has worked on half-strength & I've done what little I could to try to fix it. I'm not a "fixer" by any stretch of the imagination, I just didn't inhert that type of male gene. You'd think I'd have gotten a few more gay genes to make up for it. Oh well, so long as I get a fully lighted bathroom back, I'll be happy. I'll probably be blinded in the mornings too. You are a Social Justice Crusader, also known as a rights activist.
