| | There's a sugar detox wing at Betty Ford with my name on it.Today has been such a better day than yesterday. I don't know what was wrong with me, but I just felt so dragged out & tired and pretty much just over every aspect of my life. Today was a complete 180 degree turn. I'm not gonna question it, I'm just glad it was better. I'm still upset at my music player though. Here I've been wanting to have it on in the background, & none of the songs will upload. If there were only a way to rip those songs off there & burn 'em onto a CD...... Anywho, part of the reason I was so out yesterday was due to the fact of having to go grocery shopping. I used to enjoy it, once upon a time, but now it's just such a hassle that I'm about ready to join the other millions of Americans & eat out 3 times a day. I really don't enjoy cooking as much as I once did either...but maybe if I ever get Jason here full time that will come back. Meanwhile, we had dinner at work today. I had meant to take my camera & get a few shots of the spread I knew we'd have but I forgot it here at home. Anyway, yours truly made a chicken tortilla casserole, a hash brown casserole, and home baked mac & cheese ( starch & cheese, that was my theme, lol), which is unusual for me for 2 reasons: 1.) I've never made it before in my life & pretty much made it up as I went along and 2.) I can't stand the stuff. I gag at the sight of it. Seriously, I'll throw up if I even try to eat it. This is the first time I've ever made a dish that I didn't taste at some point to see what needed to be done to it. Everyone who tried it said it was really good, so I'm taking them at their word. So let's see...we also had roast chicken (Trish forgot to get a turkey, it was too funny but you'd have had to have been there), pork roast, Itailian pasta bake, chili, Southwest soup, macaroni salad, green beans, corn, mashed potatoes, homemade dressing, brocolli & cheese, rolls, black beans with sausage, peach cobbler, p-nut butter pie, cheesecake, Butterfinger cake, and coconut cake. When we eat around that place, we really eat. I personally ate enough to feed a small middle eastern country for a week. There was a ton of left-overs, so we get to enjoy it all again tomorrow.
