| | The shopping season is upon us.Urban word of the day: brain grenade a bottle of beer, due to its effects on brains. Once upon at time, I never thought about holiday shopping till well into December. Every year it seems to start earlier & earlier in my head. Chris Hatfield shares some blame in this, as he's been known to buy presents early in the year. As in March. Meanwhile, I found something very useful today, so I wanted to share it here for those parties who are interested. There is a website you need to visit if you plan on hitting the bargains on the Friday after Thanksgiving, a.k.a. Black Friday. Go to www.blackfriday.info It is a listing of some major retail outlet's special sales going on Black Friday. Sears, JCPenny, Best Buy, etc. Wal-Mart was up, but being the money hungry bastards they are, theirs was pulled down. They didn't want the public to know that far in advance of their shopping specials. We've been very busy at work the last couple of days. So busy, in fact, that I haven't been carrying around my notebook computer to use. I simply don't have time to chart everything twice. I'll do what I can when I can but the I.T. department is just gonna have to chill for awhile. Of course, I said they would pick THE worst time of year to start something like this. Meanwhile, we had snow here today! It was so pretty, but of course it was the small stuff, no chance of accumulation or anything. Still, I'm psyched about any chance of snow we have.
