| | Although, when you think about it, there's not snow anytime except winter...unless it's a freak time of the year. Anyway, it was roasting hot in the office today so I stepped outside for some fresh air. While I was looking up into the cloudy sky and soaking up the cool breeze, I got to thinking how fresh the air was. Then I thought about how the air must have been when man first breathed. And that led to what it would be like to breathe the air for the first time on a planet that man has never set foot on. Then I realized I'd never travel in space, never see distant worlds, probably won't live to see any real significant strides in traveling outside this blue orb. One lifetime is not enough to see what's going to happen. I don't think most people are cut out for immortality, but I think I could handle it. Oh sure, everyone says they'd rather live than die, but let's face it, people don't make the most of the time they have now, let alone being given the chance to never die. They'd grow bored of living & try to find a way to kill themselves just so they'd have a new experience. Not me though. Being very patient in nature, I could go through the eons with child-like anticipation just to see what happens next. I figure with the randomness I exhibit, I must qualify for some form of mental disease, and that's just one step away from a monthly check from Uncle Sam. Now if I can just convience a psychiatrist....
