Rare weekend update.

I'm a "True" Xangan, yay for me!!

I don't often update on the weekends 'cause I'm usually very busy but as it happens I've got a few quite moments to enjoy, so here I is.  Just got done with this years taxes, and I only owe Uncle Sam $171.  I don't have kids or pay enough on a mortgage to get big refunds, but I figure a refund is free money I loaned the government to use at a 0% interest rate, so poo-poo to them.  I really can't say if I'm coming out ahead of the game if I get one of those $600 "stimulus plan" checks in May 'cause that's MY money coming back to me anyway.   Still, I'm not gonna go spend it (or, if I do, I won't spend more than $100).  My plan is to put it in a high yield savings account if at all possible.

It continues to be very hectic at work, and through much cussin', fussin', and dirty looks my doctor is S-L-O-W-L-Y starting to do more things on the computer.  He's actually gettin' pretty good at printing scripts off the computer but faxing them directly to the pharmacy is still tricky to him.  Thankfully, I'm getting pretty good at that aspect.  It's been a rougher week than usual (ever try to post with a cat in front of your screen that won't move?  It's interesting.) due to so many of the staff being out for illness but hopefully next week every thing will be back to normal.

Speaking of next week, I get to find out what Jason has planned for Valentine's Day.  Whatever it is, it's involving the whole weekend & Monday since he wanted me to secure having that day off.  All I know for certain is that it doesn't involve a cruise or the beach.  (Secretly I hope it's a weekend in Vegas, but I'm not betting on it.  Hey, I just made a funny!)
