I've been cheated again!!

All day Friday I watched doppler radar.  Huge snow system was headed directly for me...everyone was predicting mucho accumulation for the area.  I was so excited...I just knew me & Jason would be snowed in together.  I was envisioning us building a snowman together, having a snowball fight, curling up together with hot chocolate.  Did I get any of that??  I say nay nay.  What I got was thunder & lightning Friday night.  So Jason & I sat on the couch all of Saturday watching the entire "Lord of the Rings" trilogy.  We ate pancakes, sausage, an entire bag of Cheetos, toasted turkey sandwiches, and  rotini pasta bake.  Yeah, I was up Saturday night sick.  Heaved a couple of times but that was it.  My stomach's still not right though.  A lot of cramping & bloating but that's it.  I'd rather have a clear-cut case of the stomach flu (which is now making the rounds in this area) and be done with it.

Jason did his taxes Sunday.  I'm sure there's something in the Bible about not cussing on the Sabbith, but apparently Jason never got around to reading that part.  Bless his heart, he's being hit for $600 & change this year. 

Under the catagory of "why do people tell me these things?", had a chick tell me today while I was weighing her that "I'm getting ready to start my period any time now and I'm so bloated I had to wear these stretch pants today."  Ai yi yi.
