  • Tomorrow is Ricki’s XXth birthday. I learnt to make a cake for her. Actually the “Professor”, Chaolse taught me to make it step by step. It took nearly 1 and half hours for doing this. Wah, thank God, taste good. I experienced another special day again! Just found enjoyment of making food.

    It looks good!

    God’s word:

“The burning sand will become a pool, the thirsty ground bubbling springs, in the haunts where jackals once lay, grass and reeds and papyrus will grow.”

  • Dear my friends,

After reading your e-mails and messages, I do miss you all. Sorry for my late reply. It takes me nearly a month to get back to you since I was so busy recently.

People here said that I am the lucky person. Yes, God provides me many chances to experience different things in San Francisco. He is so GOOD to me. Many core events and activities were carried out in these two months. Those are:

    1.      APA’s open house (the agency opened its new counseling centre in mid- June, wor!! A big function!)

    2.      New office for outreach program staff. (This is one of the programs I have to join. This program was arranged to move to other new office last week. I have to travel a lot to go there occasionally but I like this new place.)

    3.      APA’s staffs retreat (once a year. Wah!! The style was entirely different from the one I attended in HK. I learnt a lot from this)

    With two APA's staff

    4.      Young Adult summit (This summer camp was organized by the church in San Jose once a year. Back from the YA summit last Sunday night, feeling so much refreshing!)

    Sisters in SJCAC- the Church

    I like this place

     so sleepy at that time

With a lovely sister, a pastor and a fellowhip groupleader

.Very hungry on the way to the retreat site. It took nearly 5 hours to get there. Almost all the restaurants were closed after 9pm.We (I, Beppy and Andrew and Thain) stopped in a serious bar to have dinner at nearly 10pm. We arrived at the destination at 1:20am.

Thank you, Andrew, for giving me, Thain and Beppy a free ride on Friday

    5.      Kayaking activity (The B/S here told me that such activity was held almost once a year. The wind scared me so I just spent the half day on the beach. I found enjoyment of sitting in an area of outstanding scenic beauty. )

I met this sister in HK in 2005, ha, we are living in a little world!

Windy and hot in the beach

    6.      Fourth of July, the Independence Day. (So lucky, I could see firework in the place I am living now, Yeah!! It is so close! So COOL!)

    7.      More big functions are coming, such as Fund Raising Dinner etc. Wish I could be well prepared for the events that followed.

It doesn’t mean that I forget my calling and my work, especially those paper works. I am working on these nearly every single day.

    To be continue…

    God’s message:

“ Delight yourself in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart.”

    Psalm 37:4

  • I am experiencing a strong sense of loss. I really really miss my friend, my good friend.

I need my Lord, to pull me up for taking some time to alone with Him.

    His words,

"Come near to God and He will come near to you. ..."

    James 4:8

  • 這幾個星期要面對的事實在太多,渴望到郊外呼吸新鮮空氣。好在有耶穌,我才能繼續走下去。即使下個月就要離開了,相信那份平安會令我享受與神一起走下去‧‧‧

    His word,

"I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart!

    I have overcome the world."

    John 16:33
