Back in L.A! I'm wondering if I've finally grown comfortable with this city because as lovely as it is to be fascinated in a fast paced, urban, place such as New York, I find myself feeling calm in the west coast. I supposed that's what it's known for, but still, I wonder if I'd feel the same calm if I had my own flat in NYC. I feel as if I should move out of LA ASAP before I get too comfortable, too accustomed to the lifestyle...or is it ok to be comfortable? I can't help thinking that I'm too young for that... I still believe that London is my perfect combination! The chill LA + demanding NYC culture all in one, much too full of attraction! With Ryanair and Easyjet, I'll be traveling about every weekend! Only problem is the job thing...especially if my work permit only lasts 6 months unless the Brits keep me! But I can't help wondering why they would since I'd only be considerable in the entry level jobs. Hmm...
Let's recap on Spring Break!
So I started out in New Haven to visit Annie @ Yale University:

Where we ate Sex on the Beach rolls @ Miso:

Then I went to two lectures with Annie the next day to get my Yale Uni experience, and off to Boston I go to see my favourite man:

And he decided to skip his lectures the day after to show me around Boston. He did an awesome job considering that I only stayed in Boston for 20 hours~we chilled in Tangerino, I met his roomate Nick and we engaged in a three hour conversation and didn't even noticed that Kin had left and came back from work from his late late LATE shift (1:45am-3am), then oh yeah, he had a Chinese exam and took me to Newbury Street and it's vinicity...Cambridge, Harvard University, Fanuiel Hall/Market, back to campus for his so called "escort shift" and then ending with a yummy Malay cuisine!
Where Kin gets paid too much to do his job:

Back to New Haven on Friday night to meet my lovely lady for the next trip to NYC! On Saturday morning we go take the train to meet Jay in the city. It involved mucho shopping and eating!

Then we decided to hit up Sephora to give Jay a "vampy makeover"

Where Boki met us and we headed to Bueno Sera for dindin:

Then Annie left for RA duty and we decided to walk back to downtown where we spotted a costume shop in the midst of our conversation about a masquerade party! Then got yelled at by a "sweet" tranny who looked like heshe put a zillion layers of make-up (who outvamped Jay) and was ready to kill us for touching the costumes.
This is just wrong:

So we scadadled to John Street to pop by Fang's then off to Two Gold to get ready to party party! It was a week-later birthyda celebration for Josh in the meat-packing district, where you'll see I-bankers gettin' jiggy with it:

And me with the hot bartender...

The result of the evening:

Then the next day I spent sleeping in while the others headed off to their Sunday service...later on Jay and I took off to Philly, where we got tricked by this aggressive Chinese bus lady, but still made it to Philly~ Jay and Annie both have cozy singles, too bad I forgot to take a pic of 'em! Then my 5 day Philly stay began~ Jay drew, printed, and wrote out directions for me before I became the long lost Corie and it was a seriously fun week where I met a LOT of Pennsters! I even tried out Ethiopian food for my first time! And I saw WICKED the musical!

Celebrating Jay's very belated birthday @ The Melting Pot with Clara, Steph, Izzy and two other UCers:

Then off to the Urbie tour where we went to the NYC City Hall, The High Lines, CBS Studios and to the Mandarin Court for din din and met more Pennsters!
Then I ended that weekend in NYC with more lovelies:

And met up with Matt cuz he went to NYC too:

Slept over in Jersey City @ Boki's:

And ended up seeing my beloved cousin!!!

The last meal in NYC was at Gray's Papayas:

GOODTIMES!
