Here's a little picture update on Easter and the beautiful boys. It began last week when Lewis came over with his mom and little brother to color eggs.

It's a little hard to figure out how to draw on eggs by yourself. It's a good thing mom was there for a tutorial.
That makes it a little easier.

Next stop:Dipping--one of Lewis's favorite things to do.
He's not exactly sure why he's doing it, but it still fun in it's own right.
Little Evander contents himself with looking adorable, being held and eating.

Meanwhile, Lewis is moving up the engineer's ladder with expert train play. It's surprising how when he left a couple of months ago, he wasn't that interested in the train set, although we played with it a lot. Now, he can put the pieces together and play with it.

Fast forward to this week:
Lewis couldn't come up on Easter because he had a very bad cold. So on Wednesday, the boys and Heather came up and we had a hunt. Check out how cute Evander is in the little cable knit hat I made. It was my first cable knit project.

It didn't take Lewis long to get into the hunt. Last year, he was just beginning to crawl and we bribed him with little Easter candies to make him crawl.
The bowl was too small in Lewis's estimation, so he got a bigger one out of the cupboard for his egg hunt.

He even found the egg with Evander's name on it for his brother.
Evander's clothes had a tough day and had to be washed, as did the baby.
Just one last picture to show you how big he's getting.

He's cooing and smiling and loves to be held. How quickly they grow up!
Enjoy!
