@CareyGLY - Didn't feel a thing, not surprising since it was very far away I was actually at the Chung Chau bun festival during the time of the earthquake. Found out about it watching the news on the ferry ride back to Hong Kong island.

I think your referring to the Grand Lisbao. I have a couple of tourist shots of it, which I'll post pretty soon. Personally, I think it's a giant eyesore, but it since it's the tallest building on the main island (so far) it makes a nice point of reference when your hiking the main island.

If you make it to T.C. I don't know if you guys are drinkers but there  are several vinyards on the peninsula that have tasting tours... I've heard thats good... and there are a few light houses that are great photo ops... The last week of this month is the Film Festival... there are some intesting movies and people about... What else... Oh I know... as your going towards Mackinaw on 72... You go through a town called Elk Rapids... You should stop at the beach there and do some rock picking... it is good for the soul. lol maybe we could meet you guys there and help you look for the illusive Petosky stone? lol OR... I could just wave at you... ;-b
