see relatedNew Zune Software is Out!
The long awaited Zune Software Update is here, and with it comes a host of new features. First, autoplaylists are back (though still not quite as good as before). The Zune Team also added the ability to purchase TV shows and movies through the software, and released a tech preview for the XNA 3.0 game framework (which would allow people to develop their own games)! Even better, this functionality is not restricted to the newest model of the Zune, all models get these updates (take that Apple)! Next of the list of new features is the ability to sync your friend's Zune Cards with your Zune, (If you have a Zune Pass subscription, their favorite and most played songs are automatically synced with your Zune).
The newest Zune software is awesome, but the best improvements come online. "The Social", has been completely retooled, you can even add your Zune Card to other sites (such as Xanga). You can see mine below, and I also added it as a module to my Xanga site. My Zune Card tracks what I'm listening to, and gives you the ability to listen to a clip, buy it yourself, or add it to your favorites--a great way to find out about cool new music to be sure.

The Killing Ground

see relatedIf the money was good enough, would you endorse a product you knew was dangerous?
Depends on how dangerous the product is, as well as it's intended purpose. I would for instance, endorse a kitchen knife set, even though, if used incorrectly, it could kill someone. I would also endorse explosives makers, even though they could be considered very unsafe. I would not, however, endorse a product that is marketed as being safe when it's known to be extremely dangerous. At least with explosives you know the risk!
I just answered this Featured Question, you can answer it too!

see relatedFire Fighters Being Laid Off In Oregon.
I found this to be an interesting story (and before you ask, yes, I know its from Fox News). Personally, I don't really have an opinion about the main issue here, but Oregon's inability to provide an answer to why they weren't making the immigrants learn English is a abhorrent. If you're going to make a decision, make sure you can back it up. I'm curious about other people's take on this clip, so please comment. Oh, and please comment on this blog post, not on the flicker site for the video.
