PRE-OP
I am dressed and ready waiting for hubby and Em to get ready. I slept very well last night and woke up about 15 minutes before the alarm would have gone off.
I have been doing the stretches they teach us at Curves. I figure it will be awhile before I make some of those moves again.... especially the toe touching ones.
As strange as it may sound I am looking forward to this surgery. I know there will be pain involved in the recovery process but my doctor says 5 days post op I will feel better than I do right now. I receive that in Jesus name!
In my daily Bible readying today part of it was from Hosea 6 where he was prophesying the restoration of Israel. It made me smile to read in the first few verses on my surgery day:
1 "Come, let us return to the LORD.
He has torn us to pieces
but He will heal us;
He has injured us
but He will bind up our wounds.2 After two days He will revive us;
on the third day He will restore us,
that we may live in His presence.3 Let us acknowledge the LORD;
let us press on to acknowledge Him.
As surely as the sun rises,
He will appear;
He will come to us like the winter rains,
like the spring rains that water the earth."

haha that's so cool! I love it when words pop out and just fit our situation like that!
I'm up too and almost called you 30 minutes ago just to let you know I was up too and thinking and praying for you. That would have been about the time you posted. You're probably on your way now.
God is good and His hand is upon me today! Love you!
I hope this surgery will do it for you (as the doctor says). Rest up and take it easy for as long as he tells you (and don't feel guilty.) I pray that your mother feels better as well. It's hard to take care of an ailing relative when you don't feel so hot.
